To the Students and Families of the Class of 2030,
Welcome to a new school year at Fayette County High School! We’re excited to begin this journey with you and look forward to all the memorable events that make high school special—from Homecoming and Prom to ultimately, graduation.
In recent years dating back to the class of 2025, the cost of senior year activities has increased significantly, totaling over $300 per student. However, we are working to reduce the financial burden on families during their child’s senior year.
To help reduce the financial burden during senior year and ensure these events remain special, we introduced a mandatory annual class fee of $75 per year (plus applicable MSB fees) for each underclassmen last school year, with the goal of spreading out the cost and lowering your senior fees when you graduate.
Freshman class fees will be $75.00 for this school year. Class fees cover costs associated with certain class activities each year, but mainly go towards senior year expenses. Graduation items like caps and gowns, diplomas costs, senior year activities, yard signs, senior shirts, and the ceremony itself are all covered by class fees. Events and activities may vary each year based on class needs and officers’ plans for the year.
Payments can be made during the school year through MySchoolBucks using this link. Payments can also be made during our Pre-Sales/Meet the Teacher event on July 30th via MSB, cash, check, or money order. If smaller payment options are needed, please contact me directly.

To the Students and Families of the Class of 2027,
Welcome to your senior year at Fayette County High School! This is an exciting time filled with special traditions and milestone events that celebrate your journey and achievements—from Homecoming and Prom to the unforgettable graduation ceremony.
Each year, senior fees are collected to help cover the significant costs associated with these events and senior activities. For the Class of 2027, the senior fee is $200 (plus MSB fees). This fee supports expenses such as:
- Caps and gowns
- Senior Week activities
- Yard signs, senior shirts, diplomas and covers, programs, sound systems, security, the senior breakfast, and other senior events throughout the year
- The graduation ceremony
- Senior class gifts
These fees ensure that every senior can enjoy a memorable and meaningful experience during this important year. We understand the financial commitment this represents and have worked carefully to keep the cost as reasonable as possible while maintaining the quality of these cherished traditions.
