- All vehicles parked on FCHS campus MUST have a current year parking permit.
- $60 per vehicle first semester for the full school year
- $30 per vehicle second semester; if students had 3 or more parking violations during the first semester, student will have to pay the full $60
- Student drivers MUST complete the two google forms before a parking permit can be issued even when paying with My School Bucks; no forms are given in person
2. ALL permits must be attached inside the vehicle on the lower left corner of the windshield (Driver’s side) with permit number visibly.
3. Parents or Guardians may purchase a replacement permit for $10.00 on previously registered vehicles. Both permits may not be on campus at the same time. A permit CANNOT be transferred to another vehicle and CANNOT be sold or reused by other students; to do so will result in a loss of both permits for the remainder of the year.
4. All city, county, and state driving laws and regulations must be followed on campus and Tiger Trail.
5. For the safety of all students, a 10 mph speed limit will be strictly enforced. Speeding or reckless driving can result in loss of parking privileges. NO WARNING WILL BE ISSUED. Parking Permit violations will result in: All repeat violations will be referred to the administrator and subject to school progressive discipline policy.
6. Students will lock their vehicles and enter school promptly after parking. Late students (after 8:35 AM) MUST enter school through the main entrance in front of school.
7. Tags, bumper stickers, decals or signs that suggest profanity or advertise tobacco, alcohol or any other drugs are prohibited. If a student requests assistance in removing keys locked in their vehicle or jumping off vehicles with dead batteries, neither the parking attendant or school will be held liable for any damage that may occur in these efforts.
8. Students are NOT allowed to go to their cars during school hours without written permission from an administrator. Students must have a signed pass to be in the parking lot during school hours. Any student who leaves campus without the school’s permission may lose their parking privilege and will be referred to an administrator.
9. Vehicles are subject to searches according to FCBOE policy.
10. Students will park in a single parking space in the designated student parking areas during school hours (refer to maps). Students may NOT park in the staff lot during school hours for any reason. Violators are immediately referred to the Assistant Principal.
11. Dual Enrollment students ONLY may park in the Upper Stadium Lot, across Tiger Trail and students MUST have the corresponding hangtag properly displayed. Hang Tags will need to be returned to Mrs. Cranford at the end of the school year; she will email students with return times. Unreturned hang tags will result in a $2 obligation in the students IC profile.
12. Senior Parking is in front of the Auditorium ONLY! There are only 55 spots available and if you pass the grassy medium toward the main entrance, you have entered the Staff Lot which students are forbidden to park in during school hours. Seniors MUST have their Senior Hang Tag properly displayed to park in the Senior Lot (refer to map). Hang Tags will need to be returned to Mrs. Cranford at the end of the school year; she will email students with return times. Unreturned hang tags will result in a $2 obligation in the students IC profile.
13. No parking on LaFayette Education Center, Fayetteville Elementary School, Center of Innovation or any other Fayette County BOE Property. Students who park in these spaces will be referred to the administration for disciplinary consequences and including the possible towing of the automobile.
14. Parking Permit Violation, Vehicles without permits or not following parking regulations that park on campus will result in the following:
- 1st and 2nd Offenses: Sticker with written explanation of the violation
- 3rd Offense: Sticker + Administrative Office Referral
- 4th Offense: Sticker + Referral + FCHS Administrative team will have vehicle towed from FCHS property at owners expense
